Dust Applications

PCME's range of particulate monitoring instrumentation encompasses many different technologies to provide the best solution for each application and provide enhanced benefits for users.

Below is a small list of common particulate monitoring applications, and an attached industry information sheet discussing the issues relevant to the specific industry and the benefits reliable emission monitoring can provide.

If your industry is not listed, please feel free to contact us to discuss your application.

Tobacco Industry

Tobacco facilities normally employ multiple filters often in remote parts of the plant. To monitor these bag houses and cyclones, PCME manufacture a wide range of Electrodynamic instruments ranging from single channel units to multi-channel systems.

These sensors use modbus protcol to network to a single control unit. The control unit logs historical data for environmental reporting and process control, displays emission values and allows easy configuration of the system.

Wood And Particleboard Industry

PCME manufacture an unparalleled range of instrumentation to monitor the extremely low levels of dust normally associated with the filtration systems used in the manufacture of wood based products.

These units not only help to protect our environment by aiding legislative compliance, but also help in reducing operator costs by reducing filter maintenance and process downtime.
